Leaf Table
Branching leaf inlay across a richly patterned tabletop, framed by contrasting borders.
This East Indian rosewood tabletop had been owned by a family for almost 30 years and was headed for disposal. Originally sold as “iron wood,” it was stripped and given a new design, drawn freehand across the surface. Copper wire forms the branching stems, with authentic Navajo turquoise used for the leaf inlays. The design leaves the rosewood’s grain visible around and between the branches. Flowyline legs complete the table, and Rubio Monocoat Pure brings out the wood’s natural color and figure.
